What is the difference between your new and used wheelie bins?
Our new bins are fresh from manufacture and in pristine condition. Our used bins have been cleaned, inspected, and are fully structural and functional, offering a highly cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.
How do I know what size wheelie bin I need?
Bins range from small residential sizes (80L, 120L, 140L) up to large commercial and industrial sizes (240L, 360L, 660L, 1100L). As a rule of thumb, a 240L bin is the standard council size bin for a typical household.
Will your replacement lids fit standard council wheelie bins?
Yes, our lids are manufactured to standard Australian specifications (EN840) and fit most standard domestic and commercial wheelie bins of corresponding volumes.
How much does a wheelie bin cost?
New Australian made bins start at $128 for 80 litres, $138 for 120L, $143 for 140L, $153 for 240L, $298 for 360L, $853 for 660L and $1,118 for 1100L, and buying five or more saves again. Cleaned, checked used bins are cheaper again — call 1300 292 783 for used stock and availability.
Which wheelie bin sizes fit through a standard doorway?
A 660 litre bin is the largest that fits through a standard 820mm door opening; the 1100 litre bin will not. Bins up to 240L suit kerbside presentation by one person, while 660L and 1100L bins are designed to be moved on flat, hard standing.
Is it better to buy a wheelie bin or hire one?
Buy if you only need the bin itself and will empty it yourself or through an existing service. Choose wheelie bin hire if you want the bin and its scheduled emptying on one invoice, with the bin replaced by us if it is damaged or stolen.
